The SABC Art Collection website (sabcart.co.za) is a comprehensive digital platform developed to document, contextualise, and make accessible one of South Africa’s significant public art collections. Designed and built in close collaboration with the Collection’s curators and art historians, the project translates rigorous research and curatorial narratives into a structured, accessible digital environment that supports both scholarly engagement and public exploration.
Developed on an ongoing basis since 2023, the project is characterised by a high level of detail and methodological care. My work encompasses information architecture, user experience design, visual systems, and technical development, with an emphasis on clarity, longevity, and fidelity to the historical and cultural significance of the collection. The resulting platform functions as both an archival resource and a living scholarly record, designed to evolve alongside continued research and curatorial input.
